Lester Faigley, and Jack Selzer, in their book “Good Reasons” imply more structured techniques on writing another type of argument, Casual arguments. The authors show a variety of ways to understanding how to write a casual argument, such as beginning with the cause and wich will lead to many effects. The steps to writing a good casual argument start by making a claim, what’s at stake with the claim made, possible causes, analyzing, writing a draft , and revise and proof read. Like in chapter 7 some good research and time taken to do this will result in  a good  a good casual argument.
